Thanks for being an unmistakably human voice, Brian.

The tech bros are now sitting down with Vance combing all of their data so they can discredit the Dems at the next election.

Nobody lost as the cycle continues to spin. It is the tech being used that changes.

So now the enemies will be less dominated by rabid fascists and more dominated by smarmy "centrists". Dave Karpf today predicted, I believe correctly:

"One thing that I expect to see very soon is the AI industry to start writing very big checks to 'tech-forward'/'future-forward' Democrats ... Expect many Democratic Party leaders to decide that the most responsible thing for them to do is to stand up to the 'AI populists' (I still hate that term) and cash those giant checks, all while talking about 'rebuilding' their relationships with Silicon Valley."

By the way, have you noticed that absurdly-Nobel-prize-winning Geoff Hinton is now saying "it might be that we would have been better off never developing [AI]"?* Better late than never, I suppose, but why did you devote "about 44 years" to developing it, Geoff? The people who developed nuclear bombs (some of whom I knew personally) at least initially had the excuse that "there was this fellow called Hitler" (as one of them, Fred Reines, said in my hearing). So what's your excuse, Geoff?
